The St. Ambrose Ministry for Life provides various paths to supporting our mission through the five Pillars of BLESS. We strive to provide a place for everyone and an interest and commitment level for anyone who knows that the time has come to speak up for those who have no voice. We welcome you to be a part of ours.
OUR MISSION
To develop a pro-life ministry to be advocates and pray for unborn children, educate for awareness, legislate for change, support mothers and fathers who are making the decision to choose life, and to offer support and help with the healing process for those that have made the difficult abortion decision in the past.
WHAT WE DO
With God’s help we can impact change. Acts as a liaison to the parish and coordinates prayer groups, suggests pro-life prayers of the faithful, bulletin inserts, and organizes other faith-based initiatives.
Advocates for change with elected officials and provides information to the parish on platforms and legislative activities.
Provides information on the Ministry to the parish, works on formulating and presenting positive pro-life modules and curriculum specifically geared toward youth.
Provides an avenue for its members to partner with existing organizations (Right to Life, Adoption Agencies, post abortion counseling agencies etc.) and keeps the ministry advised of the outside activities available for our members and the parish as a whole.
Fundraising, provides as-needed tangible goods to our partner support agencies, contributes to and offers assistance if needed to existing activities sponsored by other parish organizations.
